Information For Seniors
By the year 2005, North Carolina will have more than one million citizens over 65 years of age. Few states have a faster growing population of older adults. As our elderly population grows, so do problems such as elder abuse and scams that target senior citizens. Attorney General Roy Cooper is committed to protecting North Carolina's senior citizens. The Attorney General's Office works with other government agencies and community organizations to raise awareness about senior issues, to prevent elder abuse and to protect senior citizens from scams and frauds.
