Law Enforcement Liaison

The Law Enforcement Liaison Section provides legal guidance and technical assistance to state and local law enforcement agencies and serves as legal counsel to the various Training and Standards commissions, the SBI's Division of Criminal Information, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, and the North Carolina Company Police Program. This section also includes the Medicaid Investigations Unit, which investigates and prosecutes fraud, physical abuse, and embezzlement in Medicaid-funded facilities.
