Sheriffs and Full-time Deputy Sheriffs
Sheriffs and deputy sheriffs who are currently serving as full-time sworn law enforcement officers may apply under the Professional Certificate Program for Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs. Under this Program, only experience as a full time, sworn member of a law enforcement agency or the equivalent experience will be accepted for consideration. No part-time or reserve experience as a sworn law enforcement officer can be credited.
